Ingredients
For the pizza:
- 2 cup Mitsides Plain Flour
- 1 tsp Mitsides Vegetable Powder
- ½ cup water
- 4 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 cups cheese that melts, grated or cut in small pieces
For the sauce:
- 1 jar Mitsides Cacio e pepe sauce 180g
- 2 cups Mozzarella and cheddar, grated
- Freshly grounded pepper
- Any other toppings you like, e.g. tomatoes, salami, corn, feta, spinach etc.
Method
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl combine the flours and vegetable powder. Add the water and olive oil and mix well. Form a ball, cover with clingfilm and set aside to rest for 10-15 minutes.
Spread the pizza dough on a rectangular baking tray. Lightly pierce the dough base with a fork and bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven, spread the Cacio e pepe sauce on top. Sprinkle plenty of cheese, add pepper and toppings of your choice. Brush the edges with some olive oil and bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
